After climbing many many stairs, I have this much farther to the top!
This is the view when inside the dome of the Basilica! I don't think I've ever been up this high indoors!
When going up the pathways of the dome, the walls started to tilt, and it got worse than this so that the only way to get through is lean against the wall.
Here is a very narrow staircase that had a rope as a handrail.
After making it to the top finally, this is my first view.
Here is the view of the plaza in front of St. Peter's.
It feels good to be on top and enjoying the view!
